Denmark's Queen Mary looked dapper in a navy blue trouser suit as she welcomed the winners of the country's most prestigious research prize at a ceremony in Copenhagen.

The 52-year-old queen wore a double-breasted jacket and matching trousers from British brand The Fold, and light-colored pumps by Gianvito Rossi and a calfskin clutch from Danish brand Quidam Bags.

The Queen arrived to present certificates to the winners of the EliteForsk Prize, which recognizes the achievements of five world-renowned researchers under the age of 45.

The queen's manicure attracted special attention.

Mary painted her nails with indigo nail polish, and her manicure was very bright and eye-catching.

However, there is no ban on bright shades of manicure in the Danish royal family.

The queen also wore simple styling and light makeup, and complemented her elegant look with earrings.

It will be recalled that Mary became the new queen of Denmark on January 14, after the former Queen Margrethe II abdicated the throne in favor of the son of King Frederik X - Mary's husband.
