WB Police Constables Recruitment 2024:

Bumper recruitment of constables continues in Kolkata Police.

West Bengal Police Recruitment Board has invited applications for the posts of Constable/Lady Constable in Kolkata Police.

The application process for Kolkata Police 2024 recruitment will be started from March 1.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official website wbpolice.gov.in.

Online application forms for Kolkata Police Constable/Lady Constable Recruitment 2024 will be filled from March 1 to March 29 till 11.59 pm.

This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 3734 posts, out of which 3464 vacancies are for Constable posts and 270 vacancies are for Lady Constable posts in Kolkata Police.

WB Police Constables Recruitment 2024: Essential qualification and age 

Must have passed 10th class examination from West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or other recognized board.

To apply for West Bengal Police Constable Recruitment, the age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 30 years as on January 1, 2024.

Relaxation in the upper age limit has been given for reserved category candidates. 

WB Police Constables Recruitment 2024: Application Fee

Candidates of all categories (West Bengal only) except SC/ST will have to pay an application fee of Rs 170.

Whereas Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates of West Bengal will have to pay only Rs 20 as application fee.

WB Police Constables Recruitment 2024: Selection Process 

The post of Constable/Lady Constable in Kolkata Police will be filled on the basis of preliminary written examination.

Candidates qualifying in this will be called for Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Final Written Examination and Interview.

The interview will be conducted by West Bengal Police Recruitment Board.
