Arrests and torture for participation in anti-war actions

The most massive anti-war actions across Belarus took place on February 27 and 28, 2022.

More than 1,100 people were detained in Belarus in two days.

The participants of the anti-war actions were persecuted for wearing yellow-blue colors and symbols, for writing "No war" on their clothes, for laying flowers near the Ukrainian embassy in Minsk.

Belarusians protested not only in the capital, but also in most regions of the country.
