In Madhya Pradesh it is called Phulki, in Maharashtra it is Pani Puri, in Haryana it is Pani Patshi, in Uttar Pradesh it is called Pani ke Batashe/Paduke, in Assam it is Phuska/Puska, in Gujarat it is Pakodi, in Odisha it is called Gup-Chup. In Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Bengal, Bihar and Nepal, it is called Puchka. Similarly, in Delhi, Punjab and Pakistan, it is known as Gol Gappa. Hearing the name of this street food found in many flavors makes the mouth water. People are crazy about Pani Puri, but you have rarely seen such a craze.
