I will not let your father die... Sonu Sood promised
A post is going viral on social media, in which an ex-user Pallav Singh shared his heartbreaking pain of his father's deteriorating health and the challenges faced for heart surgery treatment at AIIMS, Delhi. As soon as the post went viral, Sonu Sood replied to him assuring all possible help.
Pallav, who hails from Deoria in Uttar Pradesh, expressed the family's overall efforts for good treatment and care as his father's heart is functioning only 20 per cent.
"My father will die soon or very soon. yes, I know what I'm saying. I am writing this standing in line at AIIMS Delhi," he further said, adding, "I am from the Indian middle class which is the majority of India's population and I have finally got the bill that has kept me one step away from being poor. A hospital bill. I don't think I can save my father."

Faced with the long wait for crucial surgeries, Pallava elaborated on the emotional and financial impact on the family due to being unable to afford private health care. On seeing the viral post, actor Sonu Sood replied to the post, "We will not let your father die, brother."

Many X users also came forward with the idea of crowdfunding to help Pallav. One of the persons also said that the matter has reached Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya. This incident not only underlines the challenges faced by individuals in advancing healthcare in India, but also highlights the compassionate side of social media.
