Sam Bahadur Box Office Collection Day 4: Vicky's film sees decline on Monday

New Delhi:

Sam Bahadur Box Office Collection Day 4: After a good start at the box office, the collection of Vicky Kaushal's film 'Sam Bahadur' is now seeing a decline. On its first Monday in theaters, the film saw a huge drop in earnings and its earnings were only Rs 3 crore. 'Sam Bahadur' is also getting tough competition from Ranbir Kapoor-starrer 'Animal' in theaters. 'Sam Bahadur', which earned good money on the first day, stars Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra in the lead roles.

In 'Sam Bahadur', Vicky Kaushal plays the lead role of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. The film is set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pak war of 1971 where Sam Manekshaw led the Indian Army, leading to the birth of a new nation of Bangladesh. According to initial estimates, 'Sam Bahadur' earned Rs 3.50 crore on the fourth day, which is much less than the collection of Rs 10.03 crore on the third day. On Monday, December 4, the film's total occupancy was 22.65 percent. The total earnings of 'Sam Bahadur' has now gone up to Rs 29.05 crore.

Due to strong competition from Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal', Vicky Kaushal's 'Sam Bahadur' seems to be affected. In India, 'Animal' had collected Rs 241 crore on the first day. Talking about Sam Bahadur, its director is Meghna Gulzar. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala under the banner RSVP Movies, Sam Bahadur also stars Neeraj Kabi, Edward Sonnenblick and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub in pivotal roles.
