DAR ES SALAAM: The Tanzania Revenue Authority in the Temeke Region has provided medical supplies worth more than Sh8 million at the Kigamboni City Dispensary in Dar es Salaam.

This is what TRA Temeke Assistant Manager Edson Isanya said when they handed over the aid on December 2, 2023.

He described the devices as two beds, one heartbeat machine, 20 mattresses, 60 sheets, two delivery beds and two bicycles.

He added that they have decided to work with the community so they can get back what little they have earned.

For his part, the Medical Director of the Good City Dispensary, Amani Leguna, thanked the charity and added that the dispensary was facing a challenge of opening beds and were getting two to three patients a day so it would help reduce the challenge.

Good City citizen Salma Abdalah said the aid would contribute significantly to reducing the challenges faced by the dispensary.
