Bengaluru's Yeshwantpur railway station to undergo makeover
Bengaluru's Yeshwantpur railway station is going to be rejuvenated. In the coming 20 to 30 years, traffic at this station can increase significantly and preparations have already started for this. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has said that the Yeshwantpur railway station will be equipped with world-class facilities with an investment of Rs 377 crore. But people are a little angry when this news surfaced on social media and they say that first attention should be paid to basic facilities.

A post shared on Twitter from @MagnifyIndia1 account said that the upgraded Yeshwantpur station is ready to become a transportation hub. Suburban, main line railway and metro will all be available simultaneously at this station. For the best experience of the passengers, the new design will make the station a roof plaza to make it family friendly. The roof plaza will have a play area for children. Along with this, there will also be a shopping area at the station.
The post, shared on X (Twitter) two days ago, has been viewed by thousands of people. While welcoming this decision, the question of lack of facilities at the stations has also been raised. One user wrote- Sir please visit the stations in the rainy season. There is no facility for people to escape the rain. Another user wrote- Ok, but first it is necessary to pay attention to basic facilities like working escalators, foot bridges for metro stations. Another user wrote- Please try to complete it as soon as possible because people will have to face trouble at the time of creation.
