Singer Babbal of Arjun Valley Song

New Delhi:

The stars and crew of Sandeep Reddy Vanga's upcoming film Animal graced Hyderabad at a grand pre-release event for the film. The film's director and star cast - Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna - attended the event along with Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu and filmmaker SS Rajamouli. In this event, the stars also performed on the song of the film. One such performance was by Punjabi singer Bhupinder Babbal. Their track Arjan Valley has gone viral in the last few weeks.

However, due to Babbal's performance, he is facing praise as well as trolling. If you watch the videos of the live event, you will find that Babbal was lip-syncing to a pre-recorded track on the stage instead of singing a live song. In the end, there was a little awkward situation. Suddenly, the record stopped playing. He was stuck on stage. After this, the anchor hosting the show tried to handle the situation but the audience knew everything.

The video is now going viral on social media and many people criticised Babbal for "pretending to sing live" on stage. Sharing the video on Reddit, a user wrote, "A strange twist came in the animal event when the singer was caught pretending to sing live."

The Arjan Valley track has been sung and written by Babbal. It was first shown in the pre-teaser announcement of the film earlier this year and then it was released in full after the teaser came out earlier this month. Since then, it has gained a lot of followers. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal is set to hit the screens on December 1. It is expected that this film will take the biggest opening of both Vanga and Ranbir's career.
