17 laborers are trapped in the under-construction Silkyara-Dandalgaon Tunnel (Uttarkashi Tunnel Collapse Rescue) in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand for 41 days. The work of evacuating them is going on in the last phase. Not only this, the government has taken the help of resources from the country and abroad to save the lives of the laborers and has also called many tunnel experts. World-renowned tunnel expert Arnold Dix has also been called in to rescue 41 laborers trapped in the Silkyara-Dandalgaon tunnel. With their help, the workers are being evacuated safely.

Talking about the Silkyara-Dandalgaon tunnel rescue operation, 41 laborers were trapped in the tunnel since the morning of November 12. There was a distance of 60 meters between the workers and the rescue team. Rat miners have so far done manual drilling of 58 meters. Now 2 meters of manual drilling is left. At the same time, vertical drilling of 45 meters has been done so far. NDRF teams have entered the tunnel. Workers will be taken out in a while. It has been 17 days since this rescue operation.
