Ranbir Kapoor fires real machine gunNew Delhi:
A promotional event of Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor's film Animal was held in Chennai. During a press conference, the team answered the questions arising about the truth of the machine gun scene shown in the trailer. Actually, this scene was being trolled a lot on social media, so the makers themselves thought of talking about its truth.
Suresh Selvarajan, the production designer of "Animal", clarified that the 500-kg machine gun was carefully crafted from real steel in four months. This is not computer-generated imagery. According to Selvarajan, this big machine is ready to show its magic in an 18-minute long action sequence. This is no less than an achievement in Indian cinema. He credited the vision of director Sandeep Reddy Vanga for making this machine gun.
Ranbir Kapoor also shared his experience on seeing this machine made by Suresh Selvarajan for the first time. He acknowledged the amazing collaboration between Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Suresh Selvarajan and praised the authenticity of the production. When we shoot for a long time, we should think about the impact of running such a big machine on our body and ears. I had to imagine that scene. The bullets were not real but fake. That's the magic of the cinematic world."
