The 69th National Film Awards ceremony was held at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. Where the awards were given by President Draupadi Murmu. The winners of the National Awards for the year 2021 announced in August include Best Actor Allu Arjun, Best Actress Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon and teams from the film RRR, Sardar Udham, Gangubai Kathiawadi and The Kashmir Files, all of whom won more than one award. At the same time, pictures and videos of celebs who came to receive the National Award have become viral on social media, which is getting a lot of love from fans.

Alia Bhatt received her Best Actress Award by wearing her Sabyasachi wedding saree and flowers in her hair. During this, husband Ranbir Kapoor was seen capturing her special moment in the camera. It is worth mentioning that Alia was awarded for her performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi.

After this, Kriti Sanon also came to receive the Best Actress Award along with Alia for her performance in the film Mimi, wearing a cream saree and flowers in hair. Allu Arjun was seen wearing a white Indo Western suit on the red carpet for Pushpa: The Rise, which won the National Award for Best Actor. Allu Arjun played the role of a Titanic gangster in Pushpa: The Rise and will reprise the role in the sequel Pushpa: The Rule.

Talking about other stars, R Madhavan received the Best Feature Film Award for Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, which he also directed. The winners were Nikhil Mahajan (Godavari), Alia Bhatt (Best Actress Gangubai Kathiwadi), Kriti Sanon (Mimi), Allu Arjun (Best Actor Pushpa: The Rise), Pallavi Joshi (Best Supporting Actress The Kashmir Files) and Pankaj Tripathi (Best Supporting Actor). RRR was chosen as the best popular film. Bhavin Rabari was selected for the Best Child Actor award for the show Chhello. The Indira Gandhi Award for Best Acting of a Director went to Meppadian (Vishnu Mohan). Gandhi and Company won the best children's film.
