Ng Wing Soon, chairman of the Harbourfront Affairs Committee, praised the atmosphere in a good mood
The Marina Night Market, the chairman of the Waterfront Commission, Mr Ng Wing-soon, visited the "Waterfront Art Workshop" in Wan Chai in the afternoon, describing the atmosphere as good and saying that he would come back in the evening. Wu Yongshun said that the stall owner is most concerned about whether there is a business, and hopes to learn from this event, "Look at the effect of this time, after all, it is the first time to do a large-scale market, hold the spirit of experimentation, try new things, and learn from it."
As for the night economy, Wu Yongshun described the seafront as "helping", but he did not dare to boast that Haikou "saved lives", adding that in recent years, many seaside land has been accessed, and citizens have more places to choose from to enjoy the yellow duck earlier and the National Day fireworks a few days later.

Ng Wing Shun pointed out that the opening of waterfront facilities in recent years has considered to cooperate with different activities as much as possible, so there will be electricity, etc., and the sewage discharge depends on the nature of the activity, "The waterfront may not meet the requirements of licensed restaurants, but the basic facilities are not a big problem, including the deli stalls." He also believes that apart from the current Wan Chai, Kwun Tong and Chu Wan Promenade on Pei Road in Sai Wan, he believes that Central and Tsim Sha Tsui Waterfront also have the potential to be used as night markets, as they can be opened late at night away from residential buildings, and the lighting can be coordinated, so as not to cause nuisance to residential buildings.
