The number of patients with respiratory diseases and those with a positive COVID-19 test is increasing. This was said by the general practitioner Dr. Gergana Nikolova, BNR reported.
This is normal because the autumn season begins and no matter how warm it is outside, the gathering of large collectives in one place leads to an increase in the number of cases of respiratory infections, explained Dr. Nikolova.

The doctor urged patients over 65 years of age and those with chronic diseases to be vaccinated against both influenza and COVID-19. Dr. Nikolova reminded that self-medication with antibiotics can worsen our health.
The number of new COVID cases - 19 for the last day is 80, there are no deaths, according to data published in the Single Information Portal. They were detected using 435 tests, which means that the proportion of positive tests was 18%.
According to the National Center of Infectious and Parasitic Diseases, "Pirola" is the strain that is currently relevant. There's also an Eris strain. Complaints in patients are fever (above 38 degrees), headache, sore throat.
In the beginning, when COVID-19 appeared, there was a characteristic inflammation of the eyes. Now this inflammation of the eyes in patients is again present, especially in young children.
