Fans of "Sex and the City" know for sure that the main character of this show, Carrie Bradshaw, planned to marry her beloved man in an extravagant outfit with a fluffy skirt and feathers from designer Vivienne Westwood, but this never happened. In fact, she got married in a courthouse in Manhattan and was dressed in a modest white suit.

In the film, the brand name and designer were not named and it was presented as a nobody's and bought on sale, but in fact, the author of this outfit is John Galliano. In those years, the designer was the creative director of the Christian Dior Fashion House.

Many years after the release of the project, on the official page of the series "And Just Like That..." with costumes And Just Like That... Costumes has revealed an archival shot of Sarah Jessica Parker in this bridal look. In the photo, the actress tries on skirts and chooses which one is better to wear – flared or straight. As a result of the fitting, she chose a flared one and this outfit appeared in the feature film "Sex and the City".
