The next performance of the ERA Theatre, founded by Azerbaijani youths at the Harova Actors House in Tbilisi, Georgia's capital, was premiered.

The Georgian bureau of the EPA reports that actors Elnur Vadezh, Ali Ilgaroglu, Gul Copernicus, Mary Veja, and Idris Elnuroglu played the role of Anar Rafiqoglu's play "Prison inside me."

Anar Rafiqoglu, the founder of a psychological comedy drama, said that the volunteer initiative aims to increase interest in the theatre among Azerbaijani youth in Georgia, to develop and preserve the mother tongue, and to develop theatre. He said that the performance that evening was an adaptation of the science fiction novel The War of the Worlds. He added that because the theatre group did not have a venue, the rehearsals took place in actors' homes, workplaces, and parks until the last day. He noted that despite the difficulties, the premiere was successful and that all the tickets for the show were sold.

The stage performance of the volunteer theatre group has ended with loud applause from viewers.

It is noteworthy that the Azerbaijani-language ERA Theatre, which operates in Georgia, was founded in 2017 with the initiative of Azerbaijani youth.
