Super Dancer judges Shilpa Shetty, Geeta Kapoor and Anurag Basu

New Delhi:

Many seasons of Super Dancer in Bollywood have been continuously entertaining people. The judges of this show, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, choreographer Geeta Kapoor and veteran film director Anurag Basu have been entertaining people with their tremendous style. But recently Super Dancer Season 3 has been embroiled in controversy. Recently, the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has not only sent a notice to the channel for an episode of the show but has also demanded the removal of that episode. The commission has also reprimanded the three judges of the show Shilpa Shetty, Geeta Kapoor and Anurag Basu. It is being told that in an episode of Super Dancer 3 streamed on Sony TV, Geeta Kapoor and Shilpa Shetty asked a child nasty questions about his parents. This is where the whole controversy has started.

Because of this, the Children's Commission was enraged.

The NCPCR has sent a notice to Sony TV asking why the judges asked such questions to the child in the reality show. These strange questions cannot be asked to any child and why this was not taken care of, especially in the show related to children. The NCPCR said it received the video through Twitter and it shows the two female judges asking the child "obscene questions" about his parents. Such a conversation should not happen in front of a child and it is wrong to expect such an answer from the child. The NCPCR has sought a reply from the channel within seven days and sought cancellation of the streaming of that particular episode of the show.

NCPCR has written to Sony Pictures Networks over a video on social media showing a clip from an episode of the children's dance show Super Dancer -Chapter 3 which aired on Sony Entertainment Television where judges were allegedly seen asking a minor "vulgar & sexually explicit"... pic.twitter.com/0w6KwEF6Ye

Super Dancer 2018 was streamed in 3

The NCPCR told Sony Channel that such obscenity cannot be accepted in any show. The commission said that the episode should be removed from the streaming with immediate effect and the commission should be given an explanation as to why and under what circumstances such a question was asked to the child. The commission asked why such nasty questions were asked to a minor child in the children's program. Let us tell you that Super Dancer 3 is not streaming at the moment, it was streamed long ago i.e. in 2018 and its final was held in June 2019.
