During an operation by colleagues from the Agsu District Police Department, individuals were arrested by an Iranian citizen who organized the delivery of drugs he smuggled into various regions of the republic.
Relatives, Belarusian circuit residents—formerly convicted Ilgar and Abraham Quliyev—were detained during an event based on operational information, according to the EPA, a regional group of the Interior Ministry's press service. During a private search, Abraham Quliyev was taken from him with methamphetamine and dried marijuana, a psychotropic substance. And during the last KIA-branded car inspection, 1 kilogram 50 grams of methamphetamine, 1 kilogram 100 grams of dried marijuana and 510 grams of heroin were detected.
In their initial statements to the investigation, the detainees reported that they had obtained the drug and psychotropic substance for sale from an Iranian drug addict they met on social media and wanted to take it from Agsu to the tax office for money.
In the case of the Aegean Regional Police Department, criminal proceedings were initiated, and a court order was issued.
