Actor Ashish Vidyarthi reacts to trolls for getting married at the age of 57

New Delhi:

Recently, Bollywood's popular villain Ashish Vidyarthi was in the news for marrying Assam-based fashion entrepreneur Rupali Barua at the age of 57. While her wedding pictures were well liked by the fans, many people also trolled her. But now the actor has reacted to this trolling. In a recent interview to IndiaToday.in, he spoke about trolls. At the same time, he also shared that he was very surprised.

In an interview given to IndiaToday.in, the actor said, "I read many more derogatory words like old, happy. The funny thing is that this one comment, whoever is telling us this, is giving it to the coming generation. We are also giving ourselves the fear that everyone will get old. While we're saying to ourselves, 'Hey, listen, don't work just because you're old.' So, does that mean you should die miserable? If someone wants a companion in life, why shouldn't he?"

Earlier, the actor had shared an Instagram post a few days ago talking about age and partner after his marriage, to which he said, "What are these walls creating for all of us? A law-abiding person is working hard while paying taxes legally. A person who is legally married to someone is extremely happy to have a family and live with love. It's something that each of us should really support each other in, not troll someone else. It's something I didn't expect and was shocked because throughout my life I have added a new chapter."

Significantly, actor Ashish Vidyarthi is known for his negative character in Bollywood films. 1942: A Love Story, Baji, Jeet, Mrityudata, Arjun Pandit, Major Saab, Soldier, Haseena Maan Jayegi, Jaanwar, Vaastav: The Reality, Joru Ka Ghulam, Refugee, Jodi No. 1 and Kyun Ki... He has appeared in I don't lie.
