Sex and the City is a comedy-drama series that follows four girlfriends Carrie (Parker), Charlotte (Davis), Miranda (Nixon) and Samantha (Kim Cattrall) living in New York City. The series premiered in June 1998 and aired for six seasons on HBO.
The series inspired two films, "Sex and the City" (2008) and "Sex and the City 2" (2010), along with the sequel to the series "And just like that," whose second season will begin in two weeks.
Cattrall co-starred with Parker, Davis and Nixon in the original television series and movies, but did not return for "And just like that." The actress, who had a conflict with her cast colleagues, did not publish anything about the anniversary. Last week, however, it was reported that Cattrall would appear as Samantha in the second season of "And just like that."
