Frederiksen is one of the contenders for the post of NATO secretary general, according to CNN. However, the prime minister herself noted that "I am not a candidate for the post." Nevertheless, the meeting in the Oval Office was widely discussed, and Mette Frederiksen chose for her a very stylish and elegant outfit, which consisted of a white tweed jacket and dark blue palazzo pants.

She complemented the outfit with slingbacks, a hairstyle and earrings. The politician had a maroon neat manicure on her hands.
