She came to Mumbai empty-handed.
"I remember when I came to Mumbai for my job as an air hostess, I had a suitcase and an airbag. I have also lived in a cheap PG in Mumbai where four-five girls used to stay in one room. At that time there was not enough money to buy a good house. The girls used to have a job of 12-15 thousand rupees, in which it was difficult to meet the expenses of food, travel, rent, training and makeup. When you are away from home, you have to do many things yourself, in such a situation it becomes difficult to cook two times. When I went out, My eyes were on the meter of the auto rickshaw. I knew how much money I had. As soon as the meter showed that much money, I would immediately stop the auto. The journey ahead would have been on foot."

When my mother came to Mumbai
"There was a time when I was upset living in PG and my mother also shifted with me. There was some problem going on in my house so mother decided to stay with me. It was very difficult to live in PG with my mother. I rented a BHK house in a colony for Rs 6500,300. I didn't have anything at that time. Now when needed, i bought a mattress worth Rs 400-15. After that day, I did not get my salary for about 20-<> days, so many days we spent without a fridge, gas stove and anything. We had our dupattas hanging in place of the curtains. We used to sleep on the same mattress.

"Slowly, I started buying stuff. I bought a small stove with a cylinder attached to it but it did not last more than 10 days. In those days, the cylinder was refilled only in Dadar, so I used to walk there. I had a phobia about Mumbai buses. That's why I used to avoid travelling by bus."

Even after achieving the position, the troubles did not end.
Deepika said that even after doing popular TV shows, Shoaib and she have seen difficult days. Especially during marriage, he has seen a very bad phase. Financial ups and downs are a part of life and they can hit you anytime. When you work. If you go ahead and start making the right investments, then you become financially strong. Looking at what has happened in the past, we are satisfied that now we have a roof over our heads and now we are building our dream house but we have not forgotten our struggle and difficult phase.
