Shah Rukh Khan and Javed Shaikh were seen together in 'Om Shanti Om'.

New Delhi:

There is no limit to the fan following of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan. Romance kings are popular in the country and abroad and those who like them include children to old and from common to special. His popularity among foreign actors is so much that a Pakistani actor asked for only one rupee fee in the name of an opportunity to work with him. This is none other than Pakistan's well-known actor Javed Sheikh. Javed said that when he was asked to fix the fee for 'Om Shanti Om', he demanded only one rupee.

This statement angered some people of Pakistan, but the fans of King Khan present there were very happy to hear this. Because just as Pakistani dramas are liked in India, there is a tremendous craze for Indian stars in Pakistan too... Then there is Shah Rukh.

Speaking to Gloss ETX, Javed said, "His manager came to me and told me to sign the contract. I said yes. On this, he asked... What will be your fees? I said - I will not take a single penny. It is a matter of pride for me that I will be playing the role of his father in this big film. There are many actors in India... No one will refuse to choose anyone but it is a matter of pride for me that Shah Rukh and Farah Khan chose me. So because of Shah Rukh and Farah, I won't take the money."

"After a long chat with the manager, I told him to go and tell Shah Rukh Khan that I will only charge one rupee for this film and I am not joking. After this, the team decided my fees on their own and when the first cheque came, I was surprised.

Aamir Khan asked Kapil Sharma why he was not invited to his show.
