Ilon Mask, the owner of the social networking site Twitter, has been accused of interfering in Turkey's presidential election.

The EPA reports that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a member of the U.S. Congressional House of Representatives, has said.

He has said Mask could also interfere in such a process in the U.S. in the future.

Blocking Twitter accounts at the request of the Turkish government has worked against the billionaire, he said.

"I am concerned about next year's elections, given that Mask has influenced the elections in Turkey," he said in a statement.

Recall that the election in Turkey ended on May 29. Rebecca Tayyib Ardogan won. He won 52 percent of the vote in the second round. Only 47 percent of voters voted for his opponent, Kamal Kilicdaroglu.
