The Faculty of Medicine of HKU has recently frequently rushed to foreign countries to grab talents, and the Faculty of Medicine of HKU announced on the 29th that it will hold recruitment activities and alumni gatherings in London from the 3rd to the 4th of next month, hoping to attract outstanding talents to join the HKU Faculty of Medicine through global recruitment activities.


Prof Lau Chak-sing, Dean of HKU Faculty of Medicine, and his representative team will also meet with HKU Faculty of Medicine alumni and students currently residing in the UK to enhance their recruitment efforts and support outstanding alumni and Enrichment students in their pursuit of further development in healthcare and nursing.

HKU Faculty of Medicine announced that it will hold a recruitment event and alumni gathering in London from 3 to 4 next month, hoping to attract outstanding talents to join HKU Faculty of Medicine through global recruitment activities, which have been supported by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in London and the Hong Kong Medical Association in the United Kingdom.

The recruitment will take place on Saturday 6 June and Sunday 3 June from 6:4pm to 3:00pm BST, while the alumni gathering will be held on Sunday 5 June from 00:6am to 4:11pm BST. Events are held at 00 Euston Square/ Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP). A delegation led by Dean Lau Chak-sing will include Leung Wai-keung, Associate Dean (Research) of HKU Faculty of Medicine, Associate Professor and Head of Branch of Behavioral Health of the School of Public Health, and Tse Wai-choi, Clinical Professor of the Department of Internal Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine.

During the event, Liu and his representative team will share the talent acquisition plan and how it will impact the development of HKU Faculty of Medicine, as well as introduce the achievements of the School and its vision to advance healthcare through research, education and clinical excellence. It is also an opportunity for alumni of HKU Faculty of Medicine to reconnect, network and learn about the latest developments in the medical field.

All HKU Faculty of Medicine alumni and healthcare professionals and biomedical scientists who are interested in joining the School are welcome to attend the event, and candidates will have a special opportunity to meet senior representatives of HKU Faculty of Medicine and learn more about career opportunities.
