Some readers provided "Hong Kong 01" with clips of police officers chasing the driver involved, saw a black private car slamming the traffic light of the safety island and the front of the car was damaged, a traffic police officer stepped forward to chase, a man in white suspected to be the driver of a private car tried to escape, entangled with the traffic officer on the road, the man in white pushed and hit the police officer and broke free, turned around and ran up the pedestrian road, a long-haired passerby saw this, stepped forward to push the man in white towards the grass, and then saw multiple small plastic bags flying out of the man in white.

The long-haired passerby and the traffic police tried to hold the man in white together, and then another passerby and a motorcyclist passing by the scene joined in, and the four finally pressed the man in white to the ground. Later, a man wearing a brown shirt, believed to be a plainclothes detective, also arrived at the scene, and together with the traffic police and the motorcyclist force, he held the man in white and locked him in handcuffs. The male driver of the private car got out of the car after the crash and tried to escape, and the police officers who arrived on the motorcycle immediately got out of the car and chased him, and a number of passers-by joined in subduing the private car driver. A number of zip bags of the size of coins were left on the footpath and the road floor, one of which contained powder compared to the others.

The Police said that at about 7 o'clock tonight, a suspicious private car was suspected of possessing drugs at the junction of Pak Wo Road and Yi Ming Road in Fanling, and after preliminary investigation, the police arrested the driver on suspicion of drug possession, frenzied driving, driving without a license and driving without third-party insurance.
