More than 20 members of NATO's International Mission in Kosovo have been wounded in clashes with Serbs in northern Kosovo.

The EPA reports that the International Mission of Amissia has leaked information about the case.

The Italian and Hungarian contingent of the mission is said to have been more vulnerable to attack.

They have been given medical attention and are currently under doctor's supervision.

Mission Commander Angelo Michel Ristucci has stressed that unwarranted attacks on NATO units are unacceptable and that NATO's International Mission in Kosovo will continue to carry out its mandate impartially.

Recall that there was a confrontation between NATO-led International Security Forces and Serbian demonstrators in northern Kosovo and Metohia.

More than 50 protesters were wounded in the incident.
