The "Hong Kong Car Northbound" will be officially implemented from 7 July, and approved Hong Kong private cars will now be able to travel between Hong Kong and Guangdong Province via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. There is a limit on applications at the beginning of the implementation of the policy, drivers need to register for the lottery, and successful applicants must submit their applications within 1 hours of the specified date, and the first batch will start as soon as June 72.
"Hong Kong 6" collates the relevant steps for applying for Hong Kong Car Northbound, including filling in the owner's personal information, uploading copies of identity cards and home return permits, and vehicle registration documents. Each applicant may designate no more than two drivers for his or her private car. If you choose to receive notification of Mainland licence application via SMS, you should ensure that you can provide a Mainland mobile phone number that can receive SMS to open the relevant system account. The applicant is then required to log in to the Northbound Management Service System of the Hong Kong Car in accordance with the instructions of the Mainland authorities, at which time the Mainland vehicle insurance documents can be uploaded and the applicant will be notified to inspect the vehicle. It is worth noting that after obtaining the license, the applicant is still required to make an appointment in advance before he can drive north.
