The composition of the Judiciary and Legal Council will be shaped by a new rule.

The EPA reports that it has found the opposite in a proposed amendment to the Judiciary-Legal Council Act, which will be debated at a plenary session of the National Assembly on May 31.

According to the project, the 15-member composition of the Judiciary and Legal Council will be organized in the following order:

- three judges of the cassation installation court elected by the judges' conference;

-. three judges of the appeals courts elected by the judges' conference;

-. three judges of the first installation courts elected by the judges' conference;

-. Judge appointed by the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan;

-. appointed by the National Assembly of the Republic of Azerbaijan;

-. appointed by the relevant executive authority of the Republic of Azerbaijan;

-. a lawyer appointed by the Legal College of the Republic of Azerbaijan;

-. A legal scholar appointed by the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Azerbaijan;

- a representative of the legal community elected by a conference of judges.

It is noteworthy that the 15 members of the Judiciary are now made up of the following rules:

- Head of the relevant executive authority of Azerbaijan (Minister of Justice);

- Chairman of the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan;

- a person appointed by the relevant executive authority of the Republic of Azerbaijan;

- appointed by the National Assembly of the Republic of Azerbaijan;

- Judge appointed by the Constitutional Court of Azerbaijan;

- two judges of the Cassation Installation Court selected by the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan among the candidates proposed by the judicial associations;

- two judges of the appeals courts selected by the Judiciary-Legal Council among the candidates proposed by the judicial associations;

- Judge of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Nakhchivan, chosen by the Supreme Court of the Republic of Nakhchivan, among the candidates proposed by judicial associations;

- two judges of the first court of appeal selected by the Judiciary-Legal Council among the candidates proposed by judicial associations;

- the person appointed by the relevant executive authority of the Republic of Azerbaijan;

- A lawyer appointed by the Travel Board of the Azerbaijani Legal College;

- Appointed by the Chief Prosecutor of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Thus, the head of the relevant executive authority of the Republic of Azerbaijan (minister of justice), the head of the relevant executive authority of the Republic of Azerbaijan (the Ministry of Justice), the judge of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Nakhchivan Nakhchivan, and the Chief Prosecutor of the Republic of Azerbaijan will not be part of the Judiciary and Legal Council. The chairman of the Azerbaijani National Assembly hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and the chairman of the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan have been canceled. Altogether, the number of members of the Judiciary and the Judiciary has been reduced, the number of members of the judiciary has increased, the judiciary has been elected by the judiciary (except for the judiciary of the Republic of Azerbaijan), and the chairman of the Judiciary and The Judiciary has been elected only from the judiciary. A legal scholar appointed by the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Azerbaijan will also be a member of the Judiciary and Legal Council.

It is noteworthy that under the law, those who have been appointed members of the Judiciary and Legal Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the National Assembly of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Office of the Attorney-General of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the Office of the Attorney-General of the Republic of Azerbaijan must have more than five years of work experience in higher law education and law. According to the project, individuals who are elected members of the Judiciary and Legal Council must have more than a decade of work experience in higher law education and law.
