Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa said the government recognizes and appreciates the significant contribution made by former Butiama MP in Mara region, the late Advocate Nimroad Hand and that it will continue to honor him for the good work he has done.

"The government has lost an important person, will continue to recognise the contribution he has made and will continue to honour all the good things he has done during his lifetime. We all have faith in Him."

Majaliwa made the remarks on Sunday, May 28, 2023, when he represented President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan at a farewell ceremony held at Karimjee Square, Dar es Salaam.

He said that during his lifetime, the late Lawyer was a good servant and a good mentor to the Government, especially in the legal sector, as well as advising on how best to legislate its rules and regulations through Parliament.

The Prime Minister said that in addition to the significant contribution he made to legal matters, he helped the Government in the construction and repair of school and health infrastructure through his personal funds.

Dr Harisson Mwakyembe speaking to the deceased said that Lawyer Mobile was an institution in law because of the great innovation he had in promoting legal services and had left a huge mark.

For his part, the late Shadrack Hand, reading a biography, said that the lawyer was born on August 18, 1943 in Busegwe village in Busegwe County and is expected to be buried on May 29, 2029 in Kigori village in Butiama district of Mara region. Lawyer Hand died on April 18, 2023 in the United States where he was undergoing treatment.
