Health Minister Ummy Mwalimu has called on health workers in the country to uphold their ethics, professionalism and oaths when providing services to the public, in order to eliminate complaints.

The stunt was made today when he took part in a clean-up and tree planting operation at Makorora Health Centre in Tanga.

He said that as the government continues to improve health care, the goal is to ensure that citizens have access to services without restrictions, so it is their responsibility to provide quality care.

"The government is working on all the challenges in the health sector, including the shortage of health workers, so I ask you, despite your limited time, to fulfill your duty to provide services in accordance with your oaths," said Minister Ummy.

For her part, Makorora Health Centre Medical Officer Dr Angelina Mashaka said that during the two-year period of the Sixth Phase Government, access to medicines has been certain.
