A representative of the Azerbaijani Prosecutor's Office participated in a subcommittee meeting of the Azerbaijani-European Union (EU) Cooperation Committee.

On May 22-23, the 10th session of the Justice, Freedom, Security, Human Rights and Democracy Subcommittee was held in Brussels, the capital of the Kingdom of Belgium, under the auspices of the Azerbaijani-European Union (EU) Cooperation Committee, according to a press service from the Attorney-General's Office.

At the event, anar Taguyev, the chief prosecutor of the Anti-Corruption Administration, represented our country, along with representatives of other organizations.

The meetings discussed the rule of law, the protection of human rights, international cooperation, migration, shelter and border management, the fight against corruption and preventive measures, the protection of individual information, and other relevant issues.

Our representative reported on the national action plans adopted in our country and their executive situation, reforms aimed at improving national legislation in the laundering of dirty money and the reconstruction of assets, cooperation with international organizations, and other activities.
