Director Quentin Tarantino was a guest at the Cannes Film Festival, AFP reported. Two months after announcing plans to shoot his tenth film "The Movie Critic" in the fall, Tarantino arrived for the directors' 15-day film on Thursday.

According to AFP, 200 people were left outside the overcrowded screening room where Tarantino spoke. The director screened in 35 mm format a 1977 film - "Unrestrained Anger" by John Flynn.

On Friday, Cannes expects film legend Jane Fonda. The 85-year-old actress, a two-time winner of an Academy Award and an honorary Palme d'Or, will appear at the Palais des Festivals and Congress to talk about her life in cinema.
