The Ministry of Emergency Affairs has appealed to the public over some safety regulations.

The EPA reports on the FHN website that the petition says:

"According to the Millennium Hydrometeorology Service, rain is forecast to fall in a number of regions in the coming days, intense in some areas, short-term flooding and flooding from some rivers, lightning, and strong winds in some regions. In this regard, the Ministry of Emergency Affairs has appealed to the public to comply with relevant safety regulations.

It is recommended that you stay away from flood and flood hazardous areas to protect yourself from flooding and flooding that can be caused by intense rainfall, and to rise immediately to a nearby high when threatened.

It is also recommended that you separate electrical appliances from the grid, not talk on the phone (fixed network, mobile, taxi, etc.), not approach the electrical line, lightning transmitter, naval and antenna while outdoors, not dive under tall trees, and when in the car stop the glass and wait for the lightning to end.

It is also recommended that you stay away from lightweight and temporary structures, buildings and billboards in high winds, and not stand under electric poles and wires, tall trees. Fire safety regulations should also be strictly enforced, given the difficulties that strong winds pose when fires are extinguished.

Remember, ignorance is a threat to our lives."

The FHN has recommended calling 112 during the threat.
