The cause of the school fire in Zagatala has been revealed.

The epa cited a rural executive spokesman for the Northwest Bureau as saying the building had been hit by lightning.

The three-story 360 pupils used the local school in 2007.

Currently, there are 190 students enrolled in the school.

The roof cover of the school building has been fully burned, according to the report.

The fire has been prevented from moving to classrooms.

A fire broke out in a kitchen building in Zagatala.

At 20:40 a.m., a fire broke out on the roof of a four-month high school building in the district of Eliabad, according to the EPA's Northwest Bureau.

Two firefighting vehicles and private crews from the Zagatala Regional State Fire Protection Unit have been drawn to the area to extinguish the fire.

Work is now under way to extinguish the fire.
