Such fish is very nutritious and useful, because it is baked in its own juice.

Components

  • mackerel - 2 pcs.

  • onion - 2 pcs.

  • lemon - 1 pc.

  • oil - 1 tbsp.

  • salt, ground black pepper - to taste.

Preparation

Cut off the heads with a sharp knife.

Rub the fish, rinse thoroughly under running water, dry with a paper towel.

Cut the lemon into thin slices.

Peel the onion and cut it into rings.

Take a sheet of foil the size of the fish, put the prepared mackerel on it, salt and pepper inside and outside, sprinkle with oil.

Make several transverse cuts on one side.

Insert lemon slices into the incisions, spread onions around the fish, and salt.

Wrap the mackerel on all sides in foil.

Put to bake in an oven preheated to 200

for 30 minutes.
