The Corpus Christi procession in Minsk in 2023 is scheduled for Sunday, June 11.

This is an annual mass procession of Catholic believers who take to the central streets of cities to testify to their faith in Christ, to ask God's blessing for the city, the nation and the whole world, writes Katolik.life.

Last year, the procession took place in Minsk for the first time after a two-year break.

Hundreds of believers walked along Independence Avenue from the Church of the Holy Trinity (Saint Roch) on Zlata Gorka to the Red Church, and made stops near the altars, including at the Eternal Flame on Victory Square.

This year, in the center of Minsk, Catholics will hold a Corpus Christi procession for the first time without stopping at the Red Church.

"Unfortunately, for the first time in 33 years, an altar has not been planned near our sanctuary, which requires special attention and prayer," said the parish of Saint Simon and Saint Helena.
