On May 6 , the coronation of King Charles III

and his wife

Queen Camilla

took place in London

.

Traditionally, for such a grand event, a festive outfit was sewn for them, in which a special symbolism was embedded.

But if

the late Queen Elizabeth II placed the symbols of Great Britain and the Commonwealth of Nations in her

coronation dress , her daughter-in-law Camilla decided that the embroidery should be close to her heart.

Therefore, very unusual symbols appeared on the outfit - two dogs of the new queen, as well as the names of her grandchildren and children.

It was possible to examine the embroidery after the coronation in Westminster Abbey, when the queen was already on her way to another location - she lifted her clothes a little and it turned out that the names of her two children - Tom and Laura, as well as grandchildren - Gus and Freddie were written there.

However, we suspect that the names of three more of her grandchildren are also on the dress - Eliza, Luisa, Lola, they just didn't make it into the frame.

The names of Charles' grandchildren are probably not on the dress.

In addition to the grandchildren, two of Camilla's pets — Jack Russell terriers nicknamed Bluebell and Beth — were also embroidered on the dress.

She took the dogs from the shelter in South London, which she often visited: Beth in 2011, and Bluebell in 2012.

But in the center of the dress was her monogram with the letters C and R intertwined.

There was gold embroidery with flowers on the hem of the dress, and silver on the outfit.

They also created an exclusive long robe for her with her initials and floral embroidery, which repeated the pattern of the dress.
