Recently, the German "iF Design Award" announced the list of winners in 2023. The large-scale and exquisite animation at the entrance of the South Island Hall of the Prehistoric Museum, after winning the communication design category of Taiwan's "Golden Pin Design Award" in 2022 and being shortlisted for the animation category of the "ADC Award" in the United States, This year, it also won the animation category of the German "iF Design Award".

According to the Prehistoric Museum, the South Island Hall opened with the theme "Where the World Begins" and exhibited a 3-minute animation.

The director uses a one-shot approach to coherent illustrations with different styles into a suite that hides diverse cultures.

Presents the various creation and origin myths of the Dawu, Paiwan, Puyuma, Amis, Malaysian Iban, and Austronesian ethnic groups in Kiribati and other places.

The animation is the result of the collaboration between many Taiwanese design talents and the curators of the Prehistoric Museum. It is presented on 27 sets of 55-inch thin-frame LCD screens through image splicing and fusion technology.

The animation team includes Daliyu and Zhangsan Film and Television; the exhibition design is designed by famous craftsmen; well-known domestic illustrators Lin Weida, Chen Qinglin, Michun, Hu Yu, Dong Shixing, Xiao Youhua and others accepted the invitation of the animation director to interpret the creation myths of different ethnic cultures .

According to the Museum of Prehistory, the "iF Design Award" in Berlin, Germany is one of the most important design competitions in the world. In 2023, there will be nearly 11,000 entries from 56 countries.
