In August 2022, the eldest son of Queen Rania and King Abdullah II announced his engagement to 28-year-old Rajwa Al Saif.

The future daughter-in-law of the royal couple celebrated her 29th birthday, which was publicly congratulated by Rania.

"Congratulations to our lovely Rajva on her birthday!", the queen captioned the shot.

Rajwa is pictured in a coral blouse and denim skirt, while Rania is wearing a white blouse and beige flared pants with arrows.

The queen is sitting on the railing of the sofa, hugging her daughter-in-law by the shoulders.

Both women are smiling.

Their wedding to Prince Hussein, the heir to the royal throne, is scheduled for June 2023.
