Delicate fabrics

Baking soda is quite abrasive and can damage the fine fibers of these fabrics.
It can discolor delicate fabrics due to its very high pH level.
Also, excessive use of baking soda can cause fabrics like wool and cashmere to become rough.
Therefore, for these delicate things, it is better to use mild detergents or even give them to dry cleaning.
Clothes with jewelry
Clothes with sequins, beads or embroidery should not be washed with baking soda.
