The facility will be supplemented with outbuildings and a parking lot, reports Minsknews.by.
The main building with 2-3 floors will be in the shape of the letter "P", with an inner courtyard.
The building will have a reception department, CT and X-ray, 10 intensive care units with 18 beds, an express laboratory, an operating block, a clinical laboratory service, a microbiological department, departments of functional diagnostics, endoscopy, paid services and other inpatient services.
Future doctors will study here: according to the project, another educational building for students will be built here.
"We tried to break the stereotypes of a sterile hospital atmosphere and create a psychological environment that is comfortable for both patients and staff," said the designers of the new hospital.
They wanted to build an infectious disease hospital in Minsk even before the arrival of the coronavirus, notes the "Nasha Niva" publication.
Now it is located on Krapotkina Street - the building is more than a century old.
