The monarch inspected the parade and presented flags and the Sovereign Flag to the ensigns.
Dressed in full military uniform, Charles delivered a speech at the event and presented the Sword of Honour, which was followed by the award ceremony.

"Speaking as a father of two graduates of this Academy who remembers their parades, I know they will be very proud to see you here in the parade," the king said.
The late Queen Elizabeth II twice attended the parade at the Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst to see her grandsons Prince William and Prince Harry graduate.
