On April 14, 1962, Queen Elizabeth II attended the annual equestrian competition at Badminton House.

Elizaveta, 36, wore a printed button-up dress with a slight V-neckline, a hat with a long feather on her head, and a three-strand pearl necklace around her neck.

The queen loved and wore pearls all her life.

The queen had a coat over her dress and was wearing gloves.

Several flower brooches were pinned on the coat.

We will remind you that we recently mentioned how the Queen's daughter - Princess Anna - attended these same competitions when she was 12 years old.

The shot was taken in the same year, but only on April 12.

The future Queen Elizabeth was fond of horseback riding since childhood, and in her youth even participated on horseback in various solemn ceremonies.
