Animal protein prepared from the DNA of an extinct organism

Australian Food Startup:

Have you ever seen an elephant with big teeth on TV screen or mobile or in any pictures, which is known as Mammoth.

These elephants have now disappeared from the earth, that is, they have become extinct, but you can still eat the dish made from their meat.

Aren't you surprised to hear?

But an Australian food startup has done just that, claiming to have created meat in the lab by combining the DNA of a feral mammoth and some parts of the DNA of an African elephant.

no meat to eat

This meat has been prepared by cultured meat making startup Vow.

Vow has given this information by tweeting that this is the world's first such meat ball, which has been prepared from the protein of an extinct animal.

He has also given it the name of future food.

However, this meat ball is not for eating, but it will be kept in the Science Museum in Amsterdam, so that people's attention can be drawn towards cultured meat.

Vow's effort is to motivate people to eat such meat, which is not prepared by killing animals, but by culture in the lab.

The organization has already done some such experiments.

disadvantages of eating meat

Vow's Chief Scientific Officer James Ryall says that people should now change their thinking and way of eating meat.

Through Mammoth Meat Ball, he wants to encourage people towards this.

However, about eating meatballs, Ryall says that it is difficult to say how meat made from the protein of an animal that became extinct 5,000 years ago would affect humans.

For this reason, this meat ball will not be given to people to eat.
