It is not necessary to use milk to make pasca, because if you have whey left over, it will also work perfectly.
The strips according to this recipe are tender and airy.
Ingredients:
eggs (yolk) - 5 pcs.
dry yeast - 11 g
sugar - 150 g
butter - 150 g
whey - 250 g
flour - 600 g
raisins - 70 g
Preparation:
1. For the strips according to this recipe, we will only need the yolks, so separate them from the whites and beat them with a whisk.
Add yeast to the yolks, mix the warm serum with a whisk and leave for 15 minutes in a warm place.
2. Add melted butter and sugar to the yeast and yolks and mix well.
3. Add flour sifted through a sieve to the egg mixture in parts and constantly mix well.
When the dough has become tight, transfer it to the table and knead with your hands.
4. While preparing the dough, prepare the dried fruits you want to add.
To do this, pour them with hot water for a few minutes, throw them in a colander, and then pour them again with some sweet and aromatic alcoholic drink, for example, it can be rum.
5. Now let's return to the dough.
When you have kneaded it, spread a little on the table, and pour the prepared dried fruits on top, having previously put them in a colander, and mix them into the dough.
6. Make a ball from your dough and place it in a deep bowl.
Cover it with cling film and a towel.
Leave to rise for 1-1.5 hours in a warm place.
It can be a switched off oven that you preheated a little.
7. When the dough has risen, knead it, divide it into the number of forms you use.
Forms must be filled 1/3.
8. Cover the dough in the forms with cling film and leave to rise for 30-40 minutes.
9. Bake the pastries at a temperature of 180 degrees for about 30-40 minutes.
If all of a sudden the pies start to burn in your oven, cover them with foil on top.
