The Queen was 52 at the time, while her sister, who was walking behind the monarch, was 48. Her Majesty was dressed in a white coat and hat, black gloves on her hands and a black handbag.

As shoes, she chose patent shoes with heels.

Her sister Princess Margaret walked behind and was also wearing a light coat and patent leather shoes.

Prince Philip was in military uniform and cap.

At that time, the Duke of Edinburgh was 56 years old.
