The activities of the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency have been determined.

According to APA, the Decree "On improving management in the fields of water resources, water management and reclamation" signed by President Ilham Aliyev stated that the Agency is a state-owned reclamation that ensures the organization of activities in the field of water extraction, processing, transportation and supply in the Republic of Azerbaijan. and organizes the operation of irrigation systems, drinking water supply, rainwater and waste water treatment and discharge systems, as well as the provision of services in this field, carries out regular control of the technical condition of the water management facilities in the balance, and organizes the maintenance of surface and underground water resources, water and water in the Republic of Azerbaijan monitoring of economic facilities, hydrotechnical facilities, water supply systems,it is the central executive authority that implements the unified state policy and regulation in these areas.
