[Reporter Ling Meixue/Taipei Report] In October last year, the Forbidden City was shocked by the damage of three pieces of porcelain cultural relics from the Ming and Qing Dynasties in the collection, which shocked all walks of life. It was first exposed; starting from today, 3 pieces of porcelain, together with 11 pieces of other calligraphy, painting and utensils, will be exhibited in the special exhibition of "Detection and Restoration of Cultural Relics in the Forbidden City" until June 10.

Chen Chengbo, the person in charge of the restoration, said that the restoration content of the three cultural relics is not complicated, and it can be said to be part of the daily restoration work, which took about 3 months in total; Technology restores its appearance, thereby enhancing the aesthetics and presentation of ceramics.

The repaired appearance shows no signs of damage at first glance, but Chen Chengbo said that if you look carefully, you can still see slight differences through different light and angles.

In fact, the three cultural relics were mainly exhibited in the special exhibition of "Detection and Restoration of Cultural Relics in the Forbidden City". White Glazed Beast Ear Vase and Qing Jiaqing Poetry Poetry Pot with Green Space and Flower Patterns show how the restorer judged the original firing technique, as well as the structure and composition between the glaze and the green body, and then reproduced it with professional restoration techniques and materials. Its artistic value and aesthetic connotation.

In the "Technology Testing" section, bronze wares "Ya Ugly Fang Gui in the Late Shang Dynasty", lacquer wares "Mingjiadang Bodhisattva Statue", swimming fish revolving heart vases, ivory balls, etc. are exhibited. X-ray perspective or tomographic images are used to analyze the exhibits. The material, internal structure and production technology lead the viewer to have a glimpse of the hidden secrets hidden inside the cultural relics, such as the principle of the rotation of the revolving bottle, or a set of 24 layers of ivory balls, which is amazing.
