Please read on...

●Bacterial chronic prostatitis:

Bacterial infection produces inflammation, and the route of infection includes ascending infection through the urethra, direct invasion of rectal bacteria or infection through the lymphatic system.

If acute infection is not treated thoroughly and the invading bacteria are not eradicated, it may develop into chronic inflammation.

●Non-bacterial chronic prostatitis:

Urine usually flows back into the prostate, causing irritation and inflammation.

A test will reveal an elevated white blood cell count, but no bacteria.

●Chronic Prostate Pain:

Causes include excessive contraction of bladder neck, proximal urethra and pelvic floor muscles, resulting in a hypertonic state.

Examination of the prostate fluid will reveal that not only are there no bacteria, but the number of white blood cells has not increased.

Gao Minghong said that the main symptoms of chronic prostatitis are pain and urination disturbance.

Pain is usually located near the perineum, groin, penis, and testicles.

Urination disorders include frequent urination, urgency, nocturia, and infrequent urination.

If you have these symptoms, you should arrange a test as soon as possible.
